Bosnia and Herzegovina's 800m record holder, Amel Tuka, finished in sixth place in the final in 1:45.98. Amel tried to win the first medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but his health problems did not allow him to be 100% fit. Nevertheless, he won a beautiful sixth place.
